Wonderview School District is a public school in Hattieville, Arkansas, serving Pre-K through 12th grades. It is one of four school districts located in Conway County. The district serves students from the northwest section of Conway County including the communities of St. Vincent, Hattieville, Old Hickory, Lanty, Center, Cleveland, Macedonia, Robertstown, and Jerusalem.
The school was established in 1934 by the first superintendent. The name "Wonderview" came from the marvelous view from the north side of the school. The words “wonderful” and “view" were combined to make "Wonderview". The school houses a separate campus for its preschool and an adjoined campus for its K-6 elementary and 7-12 high school. In 2010, a community tornado shelter was added to the campus.
The district houses two library media centers, one for elementary Pre-K-6 and another for 7-12th grades.
The high school offers advanced placement (AP) coursework and exams that may result in college credit. Students in the high school have access to many college courses, as well.
The Wonderview mascot is the Daredevil with green and white serving as school colors. The mascot was recently personified by Danny the Daredevil, who engaged the crowd at sporting events.
The Wonderview Daredevils compete in the state's 1A classification administered by the Arkansas Activities Association. For 2012–14, Wonderview competed in the 1A Region 5 North Conference.
